Summer holiday season is behind us, but that does not mean the time for trips has ended. It’s worth making sure that during the ongoing school year children have an adequate amount of attractions not only in their hometown. We therefore strongly encourage you to explore Poland together with your children and go on trips, even weekend getaways. A region that must be visited is Małopolska. In the vicinity of our Radocza Park hotel there are plenty of places every child would like to visit. What attractions await our guests?
Attractions at the Radocza Park hotel
Let’s start with the entertainment available on the grounds of our hotel complex. Our hotel near Krakow is equipped with a SPA area that includes a large pool where children can actively spend time with their parents.
If, however, you are looking for attractions that provide more thrills, Active Park awaits our guests. On a 4-hectare site that used to be a military facility, we have prepared a rope park, a paintball field, a quad track and a football pitch. You can also opt for a zip-line ride. After active recreation we encourage outdoor gatherings. We have prepared a special spot where you can light a bonfire and enjoy time with your family.
Aquapark in Wadowice
The aquapark is located at Bałysa 1. It is open daily from 6:15 to 21:45. What will most interest children is the 75-meter slide and a slide called "Snake." The aquapark also offers the option to purchase swimming lessons, so it is an ideal solution for kids who would like to improve their swimming skills.
Mini Zoo Kucyk in Inwałd
Time for a suggestion for little animal lovers: the Mini Zoo located in Inwałd. At the zoo you can admire both small and large animals. In one place there are as many as several dozen species, including meerkats, turtles, squirrels, llamas, kangaroos, foxes and even monkeys. This year the zoo has been enriched with new exotic residents, among them Katta lemurs and the tiger genet.
Miniature Park Świat Marzeń in Inwałd
The miniature park offers the opportunity to take a trip around the world without leaving Poland. The park features several dozen miniatures at a scale of 1:25, which depict the most famous architectural wonders from around the world. On an area of 7.5 hectares you can take a photo next to the Eiffel Tower, the White House, the Great Wall of China or the Sphinx. The park also includes other attractions: a green maze, a medieval settlement and an amusement park with a Ferris wheel.
Dinolandia in Inwałd
Dinolandia is a place where you can meet the most representative members of Mesozoic fauna. It’s an ideal spot for dinosaur enthusiasts but also for fans of archaeology. A child can become a paleontologist uncovering a dinosaur skeleton, but that’s not the end of the attractions. Children can also enjoy a rope park, climbing walls, the Cave of Secrets, as well as mini-golf and rides.
Dinosaur Park in Zator
Another attraction for prehistory lovers is Zatorland, which is home to the largest moving-dinosaur park in Europe, as well as an insect park, a mythology park and an amusement park. In the park you can take photos with human-sized insects, meet ancient gods and see with your own eyes the largest moving dinosaur — attractions that will surely delight every child!
Apilandia – Klecza Dolna
Just a 15-minute drive from our hotel is Apilandia, the honey museum. The tour consists of three stages. Guests can learn how important bees are to our planet, what the beekeeper’s profession looks like, and see the secret life of bees during a film screening. Of course, the museum grounds also include apiaries surrounded by nectar-bearing plants. An interesting attraction of this place is also the opportunity to make your own candle. We wrote more about Apilandia in the article: Attraction in the region: Apilandia – the honey museum – knowledge and entertainment in one.
Both our Radocza Park hotel and the surrounding area are full of attractions for the little ones. If you choose to stay at our hotel, you won’t be bored. We invite all families with children to visit!
